If you have an organised wardrobe you will have an easier morning decided what to wear, that is truly what I live by. I work full time in an office and have early mornings and If I have an organised wardrobe my mornings are so much easier. I can just pull an outfit from my wardrobe and not get stuck in trying clothes in the morning. Here are some of my tips on how I organise my wardrobe and style my clothes.
1.Hang the clothes
If you have space hang your clothes on hangers, like for example in a walk in clothes. Hanging your clothes makes it much easier to see them rather then having them in a draw.
2. Pair the clothes
I pair my clothes already on the hanger for example I hang a blouse under the blazer and so on. This makes the process in the morning so much easier. I can just pull a finished outfit to then combine with a pair of trousers and shoes.
3.Hang the clothes in a collection
Hang your clothes in collections, I hang my lighter colours with darker colours that I know I can mix and match with other items in this collection. This again makes it so easier to see what goes together and create an outfit in the morning. I also section of these collections in work wear, casual wear and occasion wear.
Black & White
Grey, Navy & Red
Khaki & Nude
4. Use Pinterest
Use this app to create a board with tips on outfits to wear. Then just browse that board to get inspiration on what to wear. Sometimes you might have to much clothes to know what you have and this a good way to get a overview on outfits that you can recreate.
5. Put your shoes on shelves
You get a better overview of your shoes. Organise either in colour or season. Then you can just take out the shoes that you are currently wearing into the hallway.
6. Layer Clothes
I don’t have a summer and winter wardrobe I try and combine it all together. I layer my clothes and try and get wear out of all my clothes all year around!
7. Take notes from other Fashionistas
I take loads of tips and advice from other Fashionistas. Instagram is full of other fashionistas. Look at their outfits and recreate with your own clothes!
