Create The Look – Spring Fashion 2018

I thought I would start and build up my blog with more structure. I thought I would have a series of post. Create the look is one of them. This will be where I take a look from the Catwalk, a celebrity, Instagram etc and find high street alternatives. I love getting inspiration from everywhere. Even though I have my signature look I am always look for other tips and tricks on how to style clothes and new looks.

I love stripes and it has been a part of my wardrobe for long. I have shirts, shoes, bags etc with stripes. I prefer blue and white stripes. Its just so classic and timeless to me.Today, stripes have earned their place as something far more solid than a wardrobe ‘must-have’: they are considered to be a foundation piece defying trends.  When styling stripes I prefer to have something more plain with it. If I have a strip blazer I have a basic white t-shirt under it. Or wear a plain outfit and have a stripe bag or striped shoes! For the ones who are more daring that I am mix and max as you can see on the Catwalk looks!

I do like bright colours, but on other people. I don’t like to stand out too much, so that’s properly why I don’t wear bright colours. But many tells me I should. I used to own a very bright green blazer. But I never worn it so I gave it to charity. I been looking at buying a yellow jacket but I am hesitating. I love the pink suit on the Catwalk looks!

Pastel colours makes me think of Spring. It gives your look a vibe of freshness. Wearing an all pastel look with different pastel colours can be lovely but also just wearing it with a plain basic outfit. I recently bought a pastel bike jacket that I can’t wait to wear for spring. I also own a few duster coats in pastel that I love to throw on a basic outfit. Pastel is probably the only way I incorporate some colour in my wardrobe.

I love the bright colour block look, it sends such a strong statement of confidence. I think I’d be a little too self conscious!
