Stockholm Furniture Fair is held once a year and it is a very large fair with so much too see! I went with work as I work with interior design as well as financials. If you want to know more about what I do and how I got to where I am today, a career post is soon coming!Last year when we went to this fair we had yet not moved into our new office. So we were looking at furniture for the office then. We had a packed schedule with stalls to visit. This year we were looking for furniture to add to our office. So we didn’t have any schedule or stalls that we had appointments with. There is many different designers that have stalls at the fair. Its representative are all Nordic designers which is something that has become very popular around the world lately.

Rearranging furniture, adding some candles, or making even small tweaks can really make the difference.

The location of the fair is south of Stockholm City at Älvsjö. This is where many different fairs are hold during the year. Like food & wine fair, health fair and wedding fair to name a few.I always look forward going to this fair with work, as its such as good day out of the office where you get to work and get to socialise with your co-workers.What I saw at the fair was that pastel colours are trendy this spring, not only in our wardrobe but in our home. There was a lot of warm and toned colours. Although a few stalls had very colourful furniture and decorations.A lot of velvet on sofas, chairs and cushions, all in different colours and shapes. Coffee tables in both smaller and larger sizes. Marble and wood was also frequently seen at all designer stalls.
